This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Located fifty miles west of Minneapolis in Willmar, MN, the Schwanke Car, Tractor, and Truck Museum has been open since 1998. It features the collection of Virgil Schwanke, who has been collecting vehicles for fifty-five years. He has assembled over 400 units for display, including tractors, cars, trucks, gas engines, gas pumps, signs and more. He recently added a CJ-2A to the museum.
Virgil uses this CJ-2A as a springboard to talk about jeeps during World War II. You can read more in the museum’s blog post.

This jeep appears in good shape.

This was stored in a barn. Looks like there is at least some value.

It doesn’t run. Seller was offered $1500, but turned it down.

its old has rust its been under a roof but the elements can still get to it. has some rust holes no mpre than 2 fingers wide.

(05/23/2012) The stickers on the underside of the hood suggest this was a club jeep that has been around a bit. It seems to be missing a headlight bezel, too.
