This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a near original 1946 Willys CJ2A, the engine was rebuilt about 500 miles ago, has a new carborator(not original), , new exhaust (not original), new tires, re-upolstered seats, runs great. This is a collectable Willys very good shape, lock in original front hubs, split transfer case hi/low/neutral. Everything works, will climb almost anything. Has been converted to a 12 volt system. Must see to appreciate. This Willys is located near Apache Junction, Arizona, buyer must arrange own shipping or pick up from my residence. Buyer must pay 20% of final price to hold until pick-up arrangements are made and then final payment in full before pick-up. I purchased this Jeep to use for rockhounding in the Arizona desert and decided that it could cause damage to this old classic, and it is a bit too rough riding for my wife and I to use. Hope to find someone to love and care for it the way it should be. Thanks for looking”

“$6500 with winch, or $6000 without winch, would rather sell without winch. Up for sale is a 1947 Willys Civilian Jeep, with a later model F-head engine. Engine, transmission and transfer case were rebuilt about 1,200 miles ago, new cooper tires put on about 300 miles ago (some older pictures have the old tires) nice best-top brand top with doors, very good shape, runs great, shifts great, starts up every time with no problems, ask any questions you’d like, happy to answer. Has minimal surface rust, no holes or cancer, no major dents or cracks in body, fenders were strengthened at some point with some l-stock steel. Has a suspension lift to fit 31″ tires and bigger f-head engine, center seam under hood has been cut and a small portion of the firewall has been trimmed to accommodate, has holley carb. All gauges work, all electrical works. Has a newer heater. Has hand operated Beebe Bros 2 ton winch that works very well, haven’t seen many of them around, is currently off of the jeep. I love this jeep but I feel like it’s too nice for me to smash around rocks and trees in so I’d rather have something a lot rougher to mess with. Has full roll bar under top, locking ammo can storage compartment between seats, back seat will need some tlc, front seats in great shape with no tears or wear, windshield wipers run off of vaccuum, has tow hitch, comes with one brand new army green jerry can and holder which is mounted to tailgate. Includes one spare tire mounted on side. Electrical is a 6v system. Engine leaks a little oil, I assume some bolts need to be tightened after breaking in from the rebuild. “tryin to get ready to move and has to go!!!!!1947 whilly it does run and drive,not fast but does RUN!!!!! the drivetrain is all original except electric fuel pump and a Chevy 12v alt. Mount and good alt,but need wired and diff fully.( I do not have the 6v charging system NON of it, all gone when I got it). flat head 4 run out good and sounds really really strong for Being this old I drive it bout a mile every couple months to keep all lose, I drove it last week!!! I dont wont to waste my time or yours goin over all pros/ cons as can see body not great but its their the windshield still folds up and down does have crack oil pressure and temp only things that work breaks r froze up and I have lights and switch I wont 700 obo for it but i know what the title with original motor worth by it self is worth. I got some miner parts for it but not much,extra carb and 12v headlights and wires switch all in a bag.them 2 flat tires will hold air but one is trashed tube is cut im bout to put a tire on it to move it. I keep the motor covered with a jeepsoft top window cause the valleys on top of block for spark plugs the seem in hood leaks so I keep the water out to help persevere it”
UPDATE: This was listed back in 2009. Price has dropped to $2000 since then. It looks like a good price.

There two different jeeps in various stages of disassembly.
“For sale 1946 jeep cj2a. Motor has been removed completely gone through. New oil pump, new fuel pump, new valve guides, new carb, new motor mounts, Too many other new parts to list. Radiator rebuilt by Hals, motor was running when removed to freshen up. Comes with New after market Willys stamped tailgate and under seat tool box. Second motor, two additional bodies, second complete frame with original wheels and running gear (everything short of a transmission to make a second 46) new body panels from jeep panels plus (see pics) I have a title for the main jeep and one of the other bodies has a MVD tag.
Koeing hard top with doors, two roll bars, swing away tire carrier. Many additional aftermarket and original parts.
Will trade for running CJ5 or CJ7
