About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

(09/23/2010) There might be some value here. The cage appears to be a little too tall to sport a normal top.
“I am selling a 1946 jeep willys 4×4. It has a ford v8 289 with an auto three speed tranny. It has an advanced adaper kit that has the original dana 18 t-case. It has a edelbrock 4 barrel carb, with a torkker intake, and headers. It starts and runs rough, but it needs the front brakes redone, because the original drums just don’t cut it. It is in pretty good shape, all lights work, and i even have a title for it. I need 1500 because that is what i need to fix my boat. That price is firm so if you don’t want to pay than don’t bother. e-mail me at the above link and i will get back to you a.s.a.p I will even call if you leave you phone number thanks for you time.”
No green paint was spared in the coloring of this jeep.

Looks like it could be solid, but hasn’t run in 3 years.

Bill spotted this … as he suggested, sit down …. the auction estimate was $12,000 – $17,000 which in itself is an inflated price in my opinion. However, this past weekend this franken jeep sold for $35,750.
“63 hp, 134.2 cu. in. flathead four-cylinder engine, Carter carburetor, three-speed manual gearbox with low-range, four-wheel drive with live axles front and rear with semi-elliptic leaf springs, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 80″
– From the Bill Jacobs Collection
– Only 578 miles since total nut-and-bolt restoration
– Original Forest Service Jeep with shovel and axe included
– 4WD with low range, trailer hitch, full gauge package
The 1946 Jeep offered here is beautifully finished in white. It was reportedly the property of the US Forest Service and carries the appropriate axe and shovel. It was the subject of an extremely detailed two-year restoration in 2001 by Jim Neirynck of Macomb Township, Michigan.”
