About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Two 1946 Willys: $2000. One is unassembled and complete except for motor and seats. This one had a small block chevy at one time, frame is boxed and mounts reinforced. The assembled one is complete except for seats. There are three windshields frames between them. One good title. Trailer not included. $2000 OBO 916-717-7290”

I’ve put everything from plugs and wires to carb. rebuild, bearings in the front end, hoses and belts, lights. Gas tank rusted out so i put a plastic one in for now. “1948 Jeep Willy’s CJ2A. This jeep has been fully restored around 10 yrs ago. It had 10,000 dollars put into it. It is in extremely good shape and virtually rust free. The paint is still in excellent shape. It has been converted over to 12VDC so as to make it easier to start, especially in cold weather. It has a flathead 4cyl, and runs excellent. The 4 wheel drive works great and shifts smooth. The gear ratio is 5:38. It has been stored indoors. The only trades I am interested in would be a 3/4 to 1 ton 4X4 truck either chevy, gmc, or dodge. Of equal value.
If interested please call Mike at 859-797-3830 or Bill at 859-797-1411 NO CALLS AFTER 9:30PM.”
“Old Army style Jeep. Has plow with hydraulics. Needs carb cleaned and hoses replaced to make run. I bought to use this winter but am not putting the time forth to work on it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** was priced at $2000. This is a no-glove-box slat grille MB.
Dexter forwarded the pics and noted, “This guy sent me lots of pics. It’s an early slat without a glovebox. The engine number is I10885, which puts it in the “no glovebox category.” The 10,885th slat made.”
(12/10/2010) The head is off, but this sure looks solid.
“This jeep is all original. Most of its life has been in eastern washington,so there is very little rust. The engine head is off because of a bad head gasket.”
“I have for sale and old army jeep, and a lot of spare parts, I would be good for a farther and son project its been in the shead for the last two years and I don’t have the time. i have posted pictures and it would be a pick up so if you live around Milwaukee racine or kenosha that would be good.
