This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Jeep Willys. This is an unrestored Jeep Willys CJ2A. Sold on Ebay and Buyer never came through…So 2nd Chance for you!
This Jeep is sold as is. Everything appears to be there: engine, drive train and transmission. I don’t know how long it has sat and or ran. It rolls and can be restored to something special or used for parts. Will ship-you pay based on formula below. If you are in the area then arrangements can be made through seller. Buyer pays for all shipping costs. I do not currently have a title. I have a bill of sale from the lady I purchased it from. You have to file for a lost title. All of the numbers match: frame, tub, motor, etc.”

It appears the restorer spent a great deal of time turning this CJ-2A into a militarized-CJ-2A.

Hasn’t run in 20 years.
“I have a Old (not sure of year) Willys Jeep.It was my late stepdads and he has passed away and i dont see any reason to let it sit and rust. The body is rusted pretty bad but the chassis and engine are in good shape. With some sheet metal work the body would be an easy fix. Does not run since parked 20 some odd years ago. would be great restoration project. comes with hydraulic dump bed.(custom made i believe not sure). It has a four cylinder engine and manual transmission. I would say this is a 54 from what my stepdad told me before he passed away. I do have a title for this vehicle but it will take a few days to dig it up but i will write a bill of sale if needed.”

“1946 Willy’s Jeep, Super Hurricane 6 Cyl. Manual tranny. Seats are newly re upohlstered, have bikini top and roll bar. I have all the parts,runs but needs some assembly. Good condition. I have the title and paperwork. $3500.00,B.O., or trade? Baja Bug or 65 Cadillac 2 door would be cool. I bought it but I’m too tall to fit in it. ”

He writes, “this jeep comes with a strong f-head motor, a T-90 tranny and upgraded Dana 20 transfercase. In the rear is an AMC 20 rear axle and in the front is a Dana 30 front axle with disk brakes.
