“1946 Willys CJ2A, the first year for the CJ Jeep. Mostly original body with lots of rust and patches. L134 engine, does crank over, but needs head gasket (antifreeze in oil). Brakes and clutch not working. My grandfather owned this Jeep since the mid-70’s. I got it running about 12 years ago, but run the clutch out and parked it in the shed. I have reupholstered seat cushions and backs with original springs (done back in the 70’s but never installed). the aluminum top was winter top and I have the doors for it but no end gate. Windshield frame is gone. Transmission seems to be fine. Tires hold air but not roadworthy.
It has had a hard life. Restore or part it. I can provide more pictures upon request.”
This has a funky windshield.
“***if you send email asking “do you still have it” or something similar I will assume its spam/scam and will not reply. When you email me be specific about the item.***
Selling my 1948 Willys Jeep. No time to work on it. Sold as is. You must arrange to transport it . Asking $1800 but will entertain all offers.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2800.
Per Bill’s observation, this appears to be a M-38 with DJ-5 grille and CJ-2A windshield. Pictures are 7 years old.
“Rare 1947 Willys Jeep, runs good, needs brake fluid, good project jeep, title in hand.”

This has full floating hubs in the rear, so this could be part military or part early VEC CJ-2A. However, there are a few other details that suggest this just might be a collection of various parts.
“Drives and Runs well and in good condition. Recent upgrades to brake system and rear and front internal gears etc. call for appointment if serious about collecting this gem. Needs minor electrical and a paint upgrade. Have clear title”
