Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (02/10/2012) The fenders appear to have an unusual mod in the front. The body looks more like a replacement fiberglass body than a ’48 body. The rear axle looks CJ-2Aish. Overall it looks like a solid build.

This looks like a great price with most of the value in the trailer. The grille looks like it is stainless, too.
“’47 CJ2A project. 225 Buick V-6, twin stick transfer case, warn hubs, stainless front fenders, chrome grill, early mustang taillights. Needs a coil, tires and wheels, fuel tank installed, and brakes fixed. I don’t know anything about the condition of the motor ( I got the jeep as is in a trade ). Trailer is a flatbed tandem axle with a 21′ by 6′ deck. will fit 2 jeeps nose to nose. Trailer will need a new 2 5/16″ coupler (it does function as is) and work on the left side taillights.
