The seller lists this as a 1950, but it could be a VEC.

The VIN is on the edge of being VEC.
“This is a 46′ Willys jeep, this particular truck was originally equipped with a column shifter. The vin or production number is 29344, there are a set of axles that come with the truck but no suspension. It had a bent frame horn that I repaired before deciding to build a different truck. The body of this truck is ruff but it would be perfect to use a buggy crawler. Please let me know if you have any questions. Call or text, I’m up late 517-four20-8203”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900.
(03/20/2012) This has an unusual lip around the edge. It also appears to have a replacement body, given the indents on the passenger side.
“very nice little jeep
Have 5400 in recipes from recent orginal engine rebuild, and a variety of other things done
orginal engine is board .20 over, and is now built to run on unleaded instead of leaded gas. also 12 volt system now
this thing runs great!! and drives awesome!!
Has full newer best top soft top and soft doors
Has back seat which you dont see very much on these very much
also has the very very rare side steps, that could be put on from factory
It won a trophy when i drove it in the medford cruise
top speed is around 59
don’t need to sell, love this thing to death. so don’t make any offer less then 2900”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
I’m a little surprised the transfer case levers aren’t visible in the picture of the dash. Maybe they were shoved backward with the updated motor.
“cool 1948 CJ2A the first series of civilian jeeps, we have owned her for 20 year, was a daily driver, until we built a house and needed a pickup, so she was retired about 10 years ago, IT IS ON NON OP !! engine not running, probably from sitting , has original trans and transfer case, and has the f head engine , brakes still work, has some rust, but nothing that cant be fixed, must sell , asking $1200.00”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
The front frame horns and bumper look pretty good as does the rest of the jeep. The rolling chassis has value, too.
“Restorers dream with plenty of extra parts. I just started on this soon after being retired but! took a job in LA. Wife wants her garage back.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $3500.
Needs a paint job at the very least.
“A great project, lots of potential.
Runs and drives, good tires, Kaiser motor, great for deer lease, off road, has tow bar if needed, removable hard top and spare tire rack.
$3500.00 or reasonable offers considered.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6200.
Lots of mods on this crawler.
“This is a one of a kind Willys that was built by a former Dynamics Engineer at Jeep and he also owned Nth Degree Mobility. With a small amount of work this Willys would be fully ready to hit the hit the trails. The Willys needs to have the Carb tuned and a new battery installed (has bad new Optima). This Willys has been wheeled all over the country from the Sierras to Michigan. The vehicle was completely rebuilt about 10 years ago and then parked till 3 years ago when I purchased. I replaced and cleaned the entire fuel system and got her up and running, wheeled it, loved it but just do not have room for it in my smaller home with a growing family and another jeep. Make me a reasonable offer, title in hand.
