This appears to have a VEC CJ-2A Body.

“For sale a 1948 Willys Jeep. V6 buick engine, TH350 transmission. 33X12.5 BFG All Terrain tires in good shape. Four wheel drive works good, Hi/Low transfer case works good as well. Heavy duty bumpers front and rear, with rear receiver hitch. Front ford disc brakes only, rear brakes do not exist, carbureator needs a kit, accelerator pump doesn’t function properly, has a new battery. Fun vehicle to drive. Previous owner used it as a River Rat Call 402-two 6 nine-five 6 zero 1. I will not reply to email.”

It could be the pics, but the underside doesn’t look like it’s been completely rebuilt and painted. Looks solid.

(03/13/2012) This isn’t 4wd, but it looks like it has a good body and rollcage.  This appears to have a mb or gpw body.

“late 40s steel body willys jeep. set up for sbc and turbo 350, has dana 44 with limited slip diff and 410 gear, straight axel front end and leafs all around.. needs eng, trans, wiring, seats, and paint… good starter project $1200 ”

The fact that this body has a drain hole by the step, but no gas inlet is a little puzzling.  It has full floaters in the rear, but also has a tail gate.  The windshield is CJ-2A. The hood and fenders are civilian, while the grille is ww2.  This appears to be a mutt of a jeep to me.

“1941 Jeep Willys… The world war two 4×4 original ! Engine was rebuilt less than 500 miles ago and have documentation for rebuild…
It is a very cool ride to have. Had it sitting for a few years in storage( inside)
It has an electric fuel pump but still has all original equipment too.
Runs good and needs to be registered if you plan on driving on the street…
It has the original Tire setup also….. a true piece of history you can drive and show off.
Paint is worn a bit but virtually no rust….
Ive posted pics for you to see, havent even washed it ! lol It has a TOW bar so you can pull behind RV or Truck…
Needs a battery and thats all !
Only serious buyers ! no Low-ballers….. remember, this is a piece of American History”
