“1947 Willys CJ2A jeep. Runs and stops okay. Needs some TLC. Fun jeep to drive around the farm or out in the woods. Mostly all original. 1500.00 OBO ”
This looks to be a great price.
“Have a 1947 Willys CJ2A up for grabs. It’s a bit of a project, but a LOT better than some of these you find.
First off, the carburetor is fouled up so it will not start. It cranks find, but will not fire. If this is an issue, close the ad.
Buick 350 V8
Heavy Duty Automatic Transmission
Twin Stick Transfer Case
Upgraded Axles with electronic lockers(price the eaton e-locker) Rear is a D44 or D60, not sure which. Previous Owner said 60. Not sure of the front.
Upgraded to Front Discs
Basic Rollcage
Seats have been modified for larger drivers
Dual Gas tanks
Warn 8000lb Winch
Almost brand new 33″ Pro Comp tires + Spare with nubs still on it
6″ Black Diamond Lift

Brand new battery.
All lights work, if running should pass inspection. No emissions!
This Jeep needs finishing, but not a ton. The body is straight, with only surface rust in a few places. Mostly chrome trim.
The Lockers, Winch, and tires are worth most of my asking price.
Very much interested in trades for more modern Jeeps(cherokee, cj5, cj7, yj, etc). Or cash in hand. Serious buyers can get my phone number via email.
I will be 100% upfront on this to the best of my abilities. Feel free to ask any questions, make an offer, etc.
I am not forced to sell this, just want to fund other projects.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $350
(09/27/2011) That is a seriously stretched body.
“I have a complete brand new fiberglass willys jeep body. I had extra re-inforcement in key areas by a fiblerglass shop, and also had them stretch it to allow room for rear seats (I have kids) Anyways the project got scrapped for another. I have 3k into this body. It has been notched to allow a small block chevy to fit in the engine bay. Also had reinforcement but more for the looks the inside is fitted with aluminum diamond plate and the outter body has tread plate accents.”
This looks like a solid little jeep.
