This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Willys Jeep – New brake lines, new exhaust system, new original style fuel pump, new water pump, carb rebuilt – engine never reworked, burns some oil. Have other projects I need to work on.”

The passenger side step is kind of interesting. The body sure looks rough. Note the solution for the extra tall radiator.

“48 Willys CJ2A – Been sitting in the garage for about a year, before that was at a ranch (stored in a garage) since 1981. It ran fine before I put it in my garage but currently not turning over and I don’t feel like messing with it. Clean title in hand. $1600
M416 Trailer – original condition and fully operational, just needs new tires. Some surface rust. It’s also tagged and street legal. Has pintle hitch on trailer and I have the pintle hitch to use with it. $1100 or $2500 for jeep and trailer.”

This jeep is in great shape with very little body damage. Runs good. I have done the toughest trails in Moab and the jeep handles like a buggy in the rocks. The jeep will drive down the highway at around 50-60 MPH, but built for crawling. Head lights, tail lights, rock lights, blinkers, and flasher all work. 18′ dove tail trailer can go with jeep depending on price.”

“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A (the first Jeep CJ). This jeep has a CLEAR TITLE and the original Willys 4 cylinder 134 cubic inch ‘GO DEVIL’ engine RUNS EXCELLENT. 26,000 ORIGINAL MILES. All the electrical works excellent including all the lights, guages and turn signals. Needs brakes and new tires if you want to drive it. It runs great and will move around easily. 3 speed on the floor shifts good and clutch is good. These CJ2A’s are worth $20,000 restored (look it up on nada.com). A really neat jeep project that will hold it’s value and you can fix it up as you go along. Drive it the way it is or restore it as EVERY nut and bolt and even brand new steel bodies ($2800) are available. Call before 10 pm 317-8 six 2-9 5 3 9. I can deliver this also!
