This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Willys. 4 cylinder motor runs great, already converted to 12V system. New brakes, fuel tank, carb, all lights work. Starts and drives. 4WD works. Needs cosmetics. Along with some rust, this CJ-2A has all kinds of mods. I’ve unaware of any factor “cowl cover”; that said, the place I’ve seen these cowl extensions most often is in the northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana areas, so maybe there was a dealer(s) in those areas offering custom cowl creations? The hardtop looks to be an aftermarket Koenig half cab.
