Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. From the photos, I wouldn’t describe this as being in “good condition”.

UPDATE: Still Available
(03/13/2012) This has an automatic tranny and has a Warn Overdrive. On Sunday I asked Herm (aka Herm the Overdrive Guy) how people with automatic trannies shift their overdrive. He said the proper way is to turn the key. In other words, you should turn off the jeep and shift the overdrive. Given this has the overdrive and the buckshots, this might be worth a look.

There are some UNUSUAL Mods on this jeep. Is that a battery box lid on the driver’s side?
