UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800
“1947 Willys Jeep
Motor 6 cylinder
4 speed transmission
runs – no title”
It runs. The body was in an accident. It seems to be missing fenders . . .
“- Completely modified
– 8 cylinder 350 chevy motor
– 3 speed tiptronic transmission
– bucket seats
– allunimun gas tank
– very nice wider alloy wheels
– small sport steering wheel
– roll bar
– needs body work (was in an accident)
– still runs, good motor, good transmission ”
Given the running gear, there appears to be some value. Not a whole lot though.
“1948 Willys for parts or restoration. Engine/drivetrain all there.(Got engine running for around a min. a year ago and it sounds like it needs an engine rebuild) DOES NOT RUN CURRENTLY. FRAME has crack in it that and looks like a previous owner bolted plates to try to repair frame (see pic). Has passenger seat as well. Floor pans pretty much gone as well as seen in pics.

Thanks, Steve”
UPDATE: The blue/red jeep has been for sale since 2009, but the seller is now throwing in the other jeep. Note the desert dog tires. I like the old rims, too.

This is a mix of M-38/CJ-2A and other parts.

This looks nice enough, but based on the body and grille, it doesn’t appear to be a 1945 CJ-2a. Note the odd spring behind the driver’s seat in the third picture.
