These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I built this tub years ago for a rock crawler, and never finished it. Now the tub is sitting in my back yard rusting. It would make a killer rat rod, or finish it as a Jeep.
The entire floor has been replaced with 14 gauge diamond plate, and the rear has been moved up 6″ I have a windshield frame, grill, hood, a set of fenders, and a tail gate to go with it. The fenders are kind of beat, but the rest is great. Asking $500 for all of it, and will not separate! So far it has very minor rust, that’s only on the surface. I don’t have any pix in it’s current state, but can get some if you need them.
I do have all the paper work for a title on this one, so it can be street legal!”

“old willys jeep with a flat head merc v8, engine turns over but would need work to have running, transmission seems to shift fine, clutch does not seem to work.”
The body is in poor condition.
“Hi, This is a 1949 Willys Jeep CJ2 (a)? It has between 75 and 76000 miles. It is in running condition and seems to run fairly well but does smoke. The tires are very good. The frame seems to be solid what I saw but has surface rust. The body is not in the greatest condition. It looks like a previous owner may have done some restoration work since it does have body filler on the body. The fuel tank has been cleaned and coated on the inside. The 4×4 works as well. I did some work on the brakes and they work but think there may be air in the lines since they have to be pumped several times before they work. This also comes with an aluminum top. (12/03/2011) The grille and the data plates suggest this is a 1946.
“This is a 1948 Willys Jeep flat head 4-cyld. 3-spd.lockout hubs;it has a good serial # and plate,but it does not have a tittle.The Jeep runs and drives very well but smokes some,starts right up,the brakes are up on it,drive train is in good working order,the body is a little rough and the pictures attached will show the condition.It is converted to 12-volt system. “Way too much to list but here is a few things that are of importance, It has a small block 350, t400 auto transmission, power steering, tilt wheel, lifted with almost new 35” tires, full top with doors and Bimini top. IF you are interested, please respond to this add. no tire kickers, this is a wonderful jeep and extremely fast, rides very smooth. I am in no hurry to sell so serious buyers only please. thanks for looking. Jeep also has a manual winch.”
