This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. V6 throttle body fuel injected, 33” tires, full canvas top (not in picture), bikini top, half doors (not in picture), front mounted tow hitch (not in picture), automatic with speed shift, tilt steering, and heater.”

(11/13/2011) No motor/tranny/the. The seller notes this is part CJ-2A and part M3-B1. I’m not clear on what a M3-B1 is exactly.

This has a variety of updates.
“1945 willys jeep on a 1973 cj chassis with a chevy 4.3 v-6 with outside frame rail headers, it also has a DANA 44 rear end and new aluminum radiator. I currently has a 700r4 transmission and is two wheel drive. I used it primarily around town and to the beach, I have a t-18 with dana 20 transfer case to convert back to 4 wheel drive. It has been a fun to have around but time to move on to something different.

The SN plate seems to be missing the last number, with a line over where the last number should be. I would guess this is really a 98xxx serial number. The seller also notes that the “Jeep is in great condition”. Really? Interestingly, this has full floating rear hubs, too.

Jeep is in great condition, cranks right up, runs great, engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, transfer case, pto, winch all in great shape and work perfect, tires have less than 100 miles on them, body is not rusted out by any means, has a little rust under but can be seen in the photos, nice unit ready to use, no repairs needed!

There is value here. Apart from the owl dung, the body and body parts look good.
