These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “42 willys jeep 231 v6 t90 3spd t18 tcase bucket seats aftermarket 18 gallon gas tank under rear bench seat was told the rear end is a dana 44 gauges lights and blinkers all work has 3 or 4 inch lift springs needs some tlc the windshield frame is cracked and the bottom is rusted but the rest of the jeep is solid frame has been boxed

(12/09/2011) “I have a 1947 cj2a that is highly modified. Heres the list:
-converted to 350 (nothing is hooked up it’s just sitting in the jeep mated to tranny)
-saginaw 4spd transmission (has broken mainshaft at t-case, have another saginaw to go with jeep with good shaft but you will have to get it cut down and splined)
-dana 18 transfer case
-warn dana 44 full float rear end with disc brakes and locker
-locked front end with disc brake
-6” rancho lift kit
-power steering with crossover steering conversion
-tilt wheel steering column
-dual fuel tanks (rear is out of a cj5 and front is a custom aluminum tank)
-roll cage
-drop pedal conversion
-modern master cylinder
-modified drive lines
-re-wired dash and front of jeep (still needs taillights rewired but they do work)
-custom bucket seats
-front end is modified so hood and fenders are forward folding
-This jeep is currently on a trailer which I am also selling. If interested I have another posting on it for $1,500 but I’ll sell both together for $3,700
— I also have another cj2a that is fairly stock except the top
-has the origional “go devil” flat head
-flat mounted taillights for protection
-mostly rewired
-newly installed turn signal switch
-newly installed front turn signals
-new floor pans
-wood has been removed from body
-fenders have been reinforced
– This would be a great start for restoration or wheeler build, very little rust.
-Do not have title in hand but can get one

-comes with best top and doors (could use some work)

-tires in pics dont come with jeep but have some to put on.

This has both the Bobcat body and hood. It appears to have a pretty nice paint job, too. I”m not sure what’s wrong to make this a project vehicle.
