UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $100
I think this is a mix of DJ-3A and CJ-2A parts.
“according to the serial number this is a 1946 willys cj2A. It does not have a title so it is for parts only. engine is in it and complete but unknown and some parts are missing but still has tons of useable parts for someone restoring an old willys.Tub is pretty rusted out but grill fenders and other body panels are salvagable.
you must take the whole jeep no cherry picking It does roll freely to tow I just pulled it out and moved it to where it is now.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4500
(09/18/2011) I know this has been listed previously, but I couldn’t find it.

“CJ2A Willys Overland Motors, Inc Toledo, Ohio VIN number 158927. We specified the year as a 1940 because we are unsure what year model it is. We do not have a title as it was explained when we purchased it that there was not one issued. Does not have an odometer to check the mileage. Has a running motor that is not installed. Has the roof which is hard to find and it’s removable. Needs complete restoration! We had planned to restore it, but have no time. Selling as is! Jeep is located in Greenville, TX and will need to be picked up.”

“1948 CJ2A Willys Jeep this is one of the if not the best CJ2A Willys out there! This is a frame off restoration with a powder coated frame, new wire harness and fuse box, new Willys overland body and fenders (steel). AND new axle seals front and back, new fuel, brake and gas lines, new gas tank and fuel pump. New brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and seals, new gauges (gas, volts, oil, water and speedo). The rims and tires are new but also the original thin military tires and rims (4) go with this awesome Willys! Then we have a rebuilt motor with new radiator, hoses, thermostat and fan shroud, the carb, starter and the electrical system is up graded to 12volts. The exhaust is new the emergency brake system is new springs and shocks. The undercoating was done by Willys overland (Rino lined) oh yea inside and under the body. This Willys runs and drives like new just remember 45MPH is the top speed and it has a 3 speed transmission. One last thing it has a custom built roll cage. If you would like to see it run I will video it and email that video to you.”

(10/04/2011) There looks like some value here.
“1948 WILLYS CJ2A. the motor has been replaced with an 1986 ford ranger 2.3 leeter which has been adapted to the warren t90 tranny. it runs and drives as is but the wiring needs to be finished. it has the ranger wiring harness, just needs to be connected. rear seal of the transfer case leaks a little. got the new seal just haven’t had the time to put it in. a new hood wouldn’t hurt much. comes with a set of 28 tsl’s super swampers. one needs to be replaced. has inner side wall damage from being ran to long with low air presure. if your interested email me. $800 don’t want to sell it but i got bills to pay.”
UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $6000
(12/26/2008) From the parts list and description, there’s been a great deal of work and money invested in this jeep. This nice looking CJ-2A sports a fiberglass body, tub and fenders. My only concern about this jeep is the way the rollcage appears to connect to the back wheel wells rather than connecting directly to the frame, as should be done with a fiberglass body.
“Built 377Ci Chevy Small Block w/Edelbrock manifold and Carb Mallory unilite distributor, coil and fuel pump, Doug Thorley Headers, SM465 Chevy 4 speed tranny with centerforce clutch & t18 dual stick tcase with the Warn Overdrive, Narrow track Dana 44 front and rear with the full float axle conversion all around for flat towing it, One Piece shafts in the rear, Disc brakes in the front, Chevy Power Steering ….”
