Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Jeep CJ2A. My son & I were going to build this Jeep, but, decided on a CJ7 instead. We got it running last year, clutch is good, drove it around the yard & gears all work. The body appears a little rustier than the seller describes. There appears to be value here.

“This is a 1946 willy Rust free all reg change over 12v has rebuild 134 cubi willys reg 4 cylinder flat head . rebuild over a year ago nice running license Ins vale 10,000 . Has 3 speed tran with over day. runs like top. Seat out High back bucket seats . Tops in nice shape no rips tire are almost new .”

Has origional body( tub)
Frame has had some work done to it,
brakes, new brake lines, springs and differentials gone
through!
Body (tub) is bare and pretty rough !no steering column, gauges etc!
Does have 2 grills, a tailgate , hood, and origional windshield!
Good tires
Does not have a title but has the original serial number plate, and can give bill of sale!

This has some old Desert Dogs.
‘This thing is a major project. It has a buick v6 in it but I’m pretty sure it is junk. I was told that the front and rear axles are welded. The body is rough, no bad rust but plenty of surface rust. I had plans to build a wheeler out of it but life has got in the way and I’m not sure when I will get back to it. I’d like $750 but I’m flexible. Delivery available within reason. May take a trade but depends on what it is. Call, text or email me if you have any questions or want to come look”
You can buy this CJ-2A for $2000 or pay $3500 for the jeep and a camaro.
