Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE 2: I received some images from the seller. This looks like an exact duplicate of the western parkettes. Call the seller if you want a rare fiberglass body.
UPDATE: I’ve exchange some information with the seller. Apparently, there were two Parker brothers. One ran a garage that was known as Parker Jeep (he has passed away). Apparently, the Parker that moved West, moved back to Georgia where the brothers created some additional bodies (he now lives in Gainesville). As best as the seller knows, he has the only jeep that was actually assembled, though not complete, with an Eastern body.

(09/25/2010) I haven’t seen any front loops bend towards the back like this one does.
“1946 Willys Jeep Cj2a. Rebuilt Motor, Good 4 wheel drive, Runs Great! All of the body work is done. New brakes, wheel cylinders, wheel bearings, roll cage, Brand new tires on 15 wheels and i also have original army wheels and tires. Also has Aftermarket seats, horn steering wheel etc… L134 motor w/ 3 speed trans. high and low gear, pto in and out , with warn lockers on front.
NO Title! I have used this off highway only on the illinois river banks. Great for farm use and hunting. Original VIN ID is still on the engine firewall. I talked to DMV and a person could file for title for about $150 to get license plate. I have led taillights and many other parts still new in box that come with it.

Brett spotted this CJ-2A. The front turn signals are non standard, but aren’t too bad for non standard ones. Anyone know the vehicle of origin? It has an OD.
