This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Ok, the jeep looks great and might just be worth the asking price. But, a full restoration (and I won’t even go there) was completed and it appeared in a magazine, yet the seller still thinks it is a 1952. I can only shake my head.

“1946 Willeys Jeep CJ2A for sale. Runs and drives great. 4 wheel drive. High and low range all work great. Original guages are in it. Body is not perfect, it is not bad, I have seen alot worse.
