This is a project, but appears pretty original.
“1948 Willys Jeep Cj-2A sn154582. One-owner Jeep, original title, barn find, offered as found. Originally Potomac Gray. Paperwork folder includes payment book and registrations dating back to 1948. Sold originally at Greer Willys on Union Ave. in Memphis. Restoration started in 1970s but stopped for unknown reason. Chassis completely restored and is still shiny black. Engine rebuilt, turns. Trans & transfer case also reportedly gone through at that time. Body has surface rust only and is sitting on chassis, needs mount kit. Perfect Willys script tailgate, Willys script hood, original fold-out windshield, diamond-plate side steps, believed to be original canvas on driver’s and back seat, five original rims, even has original ignition key! Paint it and put it together! Nice straight project for early civilian Willys enthusiast. Will not part out. $2500”

This has some unusual patches on the back of the body. I assume they are hiding damage or other holes.
“This vehicle has been mechanically rebuilt.( Engine – Transfercase – Brakes – Electrical.) The electrical system is 12 volt. Has oversize knobby tires and an 8,000 # Ramsey PTO winch with approx 75 foot of cable. Hardware for doors and top are included in addition to a towbar. Last state registration expired in 2009, can be driven on or off road. Excellant candidate for beach, farm or hunting lease. Engine is the original L-134 flat head 4 cylinder. 3 speed T190 transmission. Hi and low range transfercase.”
