Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks really nice. I’m guessing the rear of the body has been patched; if so, it looks like it was done nicely.

This body has seen some repairs. That’s a serious cage, too.
“1947 Willy’s Jeep CJ-2 with Buick V-6. Holley Carb. Offenhauser dual port intake manifold, headers, brand new exhaust, electronic ignition, original 3 speed transmission and transfer case all works great. Power steering, new brakes and wheel cylinders, could use a rebuilt master cylinder and ball joints but runs and drives strong. 4 wheels like a beast.”
