This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (01/18/2011) “For Sale 1948 Jeep Willy’s Cj2A This Jeep was dads baby, and he was always working on it. It has been sitting for about 8 years with the engine
out of it. I have a 6 cyl engine for it that is included. The Jeep is in good condition. It would be an easy rig to get on the road for summer fun.
I also have a set of wider custom wheels & tow bar for it. I am asking $1,800 OBO for it.”
This looks like a nice little rig.
“This wonderful little Jeep has ben completely refubished. It is very clean with no damage. Everything works and it runs like a clock. New tires. A BestTop Tiger convertible top. This Jeep needs nothing. I am selling it because hip and leg problems make it difficult for me to drive.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2700.
It runs and appears to be solid, though it is missing some parts. The price seems a bit high given its barebones appearance.
“1946 willys, perfect restoration for beginner or advanced person. runs fine and body is in real good shape. i would also look to take a utility style 4 wheeler in trade to help do yardwork.”

This looks like a solid jeep.
“1946 Willys CJ2A completely restored. Converted to 12 volt. I have all 4 original tires and rims. Lockout hubs. Extra steering columm. Excellent condition”

It seems these are ran-when-parked non-runners. There seems to be some value in both.

The body has seen better days, but it appears quite complete. This might be a good resto project.
“1946 Willys CJ 2A 4 Wheel Drive, this jeep has been in storage in a shed for over 20 years. It is complete but is not running. It might run with some work, It needs to be restored. There is rust on the front floorboards, and some in the back as well, but they look like a fairly easy fix. The frame and suspension looks very solid. It rolls easy, the tires are ok to roll it around but dont look road worthy due to cracks. It needs a good home, maybe a father son project!”
