This is a nice build. Note the headlight discussion in the comments.  Below is a list of things he has done during the last rebuild.

  2. Rebuilt 350 Chevy V8
  3. Rebuilt T90 Transmission
  4. Rebuilt T18 Transfer Case
  5. Saginaw 525 Steering box setup to cross steer with Wagoner Knuckle on right front
  6. Rebuilt 56 Chevy steering column
  7. All new VDO Gauges
  8. New Wiring
  9. New Seats
  10. New 9 gallon auxiliary fuel tank electrically switched
  11. Floor Coated with Durabak
  12. New Jeep gas tank
  13. 2.5 inch spring lift
  14. 2 inch body lift
  15. New wheel bearings and seals
  16. New axle bearings and seals
  17. Dana 44 rear end with Trac Loc (New Carrier Bearings)
  18. New brake shoes
  19. New wheel cylinders
  20. New master cylinder
  21. New brake lines (hard and flex)
  22. Full roll cage
  23. New wiper motors (not installed)”

“Vintage 1948 Willys Overland Jeep, model CJ-3A, with Sears half cab body and ISAR hydraulic pump system for snow plow (plow is not included).

CONDITION: Drive train, consisting of engine, transmission and transfer cases, is in good condition with no known problems. Non-directional tread tires and tubes are excellent. Steering box, brakes, shock absorbers, instrument gauges, body and seats all need restoration. New gas tank was installed about two years ago.

This jeep is an excellent candidate for restoration back to original conditon or, as a work vehicle on a farm or private property. Included are parts book (numbers and descriptions), mechanic’s manual and parts catalog.  All, reasonable, Best Price offers considered.”

This has a bit of rust.

“1948 Jeep willy original motor flat head 4cly original drivetrain.. I bought as project jsut havent got to it its 4speed this thing runnin will climp go through most anything needs restored or just play with as is.. last ran couple years ago now motor is stuck i just put sum oil in cly should free up with little work bought from guy who owned for quitew a while he uised for mud bogs and dunes.. cool project call 616 835 7404”

For a $7800 jeep, the body looks pretty rough.  Check out where the windshield has been mounted.  That looks a little strange.
