This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: It turns out this was a MB (was listed as a ’46). And it sold to the first caller. It was listed at $2500.
There’s value, but I can’t quite tell how much. The might be a WWII body.
“this was my willys project . I don’t have the time for it anymore . I have alot of new parts . I have an orig. flat head 4 cyl. rebuilt by nichols & sons machine shop of sac . two new fenders, new hood ,new grill,new tailgait, new gauges, brand new tires, new orig. pads for seats . jeep still needs body work . linkage and carb need to be hooked up . work to be done . I will sell motor and t3 sep. for the right price.”

“1946 Willys Jeep with TITLE!! Desperate need of restoration. I last remember using this vehicle in the 1970’s, for pulling trees, hauling & just having fun. I understand that it needed a fuel pump back then, and unfortunately… No one has moved forward with Willy’s care”

(02/21/2011) This might make a good, cheap restoration for a non stock vehicle.
“CJ2A WILLY’S 1943 frame with 1947 body and 1946 willys go devil motor. willys marked winshield frame , hood , and tailgate. front: dana model 25 rear: dana model 44 warner t 90 trans (3 speed) dana 18 tranfer case. body needs lots of work. engine needs belts battery, and air cleaner assy. needs new master cylinder, lines , and wheel cylinders.”
