(10/26/09) There has been a few mods on this jeep.
“48 cj-2a 302 ford c-4 tranny dana 18 tran-case full width dana 44 front full width 9″ rear sprung over suspension. one peice front hood fenders and grill. tub is just a shell with all alluminum floors. 8 point cage to the frame and the motor has a half cage around it. This is the do-all jeep, goes good in the sand good in the mud and good on the trails. Needs to be teailered, not street legal and I do have the title. $3000.00 OBO may consider a trade”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800.
I’m thinking this needs a little more than just some wiring. What is on the hood?
“Has been converted from 6 volt to 12 volt. Complete. Needs to be wired”
UPDATE: Was $750. **Sold**
(01/05/2011) The floor seems to be missing some floor.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A. Great restoration project! Engine, frame and drive train is pretty good. The tub is the worst but repairable. The front portion of the Jeep has minimal rust and is solid “floor board curve forward”. Engine turns over and has spark. New 6 volt battery 1-3-11. No title, but I will work with you on getting that resolved.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $600.
There might be some value here. I’m sure it can be picked up for less. The seller incorrectly identifies this as a CJ-2A.
“What you see is what you get – This 1948 Willys CJ-2A Jeep was on a property that was purchased by a Realtor so it does not run and has no title. Been sitting for a long time, but rolls freely. The transmission shifter is stuck in gear. All other shifters work just fine. No seats – and missing 1 plug wire, otherwise it appears to be all there. The engine is a 1953 Hurricane motor out of a CJ-3B. Comes with the original Willys rims, too.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Needs engine. The body is rough.

Includes an overdrive.
“Has small block 283 Chevy conversion. Probably done in the 60’s. Body is pretty straight. Needs rust repair but it is flat pieces of steel. Has swinging pedals and overdrive. Good Willys tailgate. It has been sitting for years, not running. First $1,000 takes. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** $600.
