This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
This looks rough, but apparently runs.
“hey i am selling a 1948 CJ2A willys i have just put a head gasget on it and put new plugs and wires on it and changed the oil also. i am looking to get $1200.00 or best offer had some things come up and need the money more than the jeep.”
UPDATE: This appears to have been sold. Was priced at $1000!
(11/13/2010) This looks like a good buy in Southern Texas.
“2 Willys Jeeps – A ’61 with blue title and do not know the year of the other jeep. Both were running (4cyl engines) but have been sitting for a long time and need work. Good restoration project or part them out. Both for $1,000.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
This is a little rough. I can’t tell where the gas filler is.
“1947 Willys Jeep, F- head engine. Engine runs great, has new carburetor but needs to be tuned. Needs new master break cylinder. Great for off roading, hunting or whatever you desire. $2,000”
UPDATE: Was $2000. Status Unknown.
Doesn’t run at the moment (battery dead).
“All original & complete, good shape. good seats, metal top, chains & snow plow. Parked last 4 years, motor turns over, has dead battery.”

This has a fiberglass body and a variety of updates.
“- Body off restoration 1946 Willys Jeep – 600km since restoration – Fiberglass body – Dana 44’s on 33 inch wheels. Too many features to list. Please contact for details and be sure to view attached photos. Please note: I am willing to trade for a Harley Davidson.”
The rear driver’s corner sure looks awfully square. It has some classic metal rims.

This looks like a good price on a solid CJ-2A.
“1948 willys cj2a. runs and looks great . hard top that does come off. 50mph top speed on hwy,but it will go all most any where in 4 wheel drive. body straight,no dents. 134 cu in 4 cyl. engine all stock. roll bar, tow bar. great little jeep. lets talk. would like to sell and get a 20 ft pontoon boat.”

The seller claims the body condition is good.
“ok i have an old willys jeep in nice condition. does not currently run but its a great project jeep. very nice for the price. The body tub is in great condition no heavy rusting and overall is like i said nice. ”

This has a fiberglass body and front clip that appears in good shape.
“1946 Cj2a willys jeep. Runs very good, motor has been freshly rebuilt. it has a fiberglass body, hood, and fenders, so no more rust…It will need seats.. Also has new exhaust.. frame is in great shape.”
It sounds like they just want to get rid of this. It appears complete.
