(09/22/2010) This appears solid, though the front and rear tires almost look like different sizes.
“1947 Willys Jeep. Original engine and running gear. Runs and drives, but will need some maintenance. 12 volt convertion. Body is in good condition with no rot. I bought it with a project in mind, drove it thru the summer of 2008, and it has been parked ever since. Its time to move on to other projects, so Im moving the Jeep along. It is non-op, so there are no major fees to be paid. I have clean title in hand, so transfer will be hassle free. Located north of Sacramento near the Hwy99/Hwy 70 split. $3000/reasonable offer.”
I’m not quite sure what we have here, though it probably is a CJ-2A.
“$5000 or best offer”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $300
Some old desert dogs on the front and old terras on the rear. The rims with the terras look pretty good. Given those additions, I wonder if the drive train was upgraded with anything like posi.
“project JEEP frame was sand blasted. some rust some rust already fixed. no motor, trans, tcase. nice rims with 31-15.50-15 terra tires.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
It appears solid.
“Runs great, all original, great collectors item, nice condition, DONT PASS UP THIS DEAL, GOING FAST HURRY CALL FOR MORE DETAILS!”
(Apr 4, 2009) My first inclination is that this is an M-38 body due to the cutouts on the passenger side. However, there’s no opening for the gas tank on the driver’s side. So, I’m gonna guess this might be an aftermarket body replacement. There are interesting shutoff valves on the rubber tubing that feeds water towards the heater core. Not sure what they are for. There was an Overdrive with this, but maybe it was sold?
