This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. New seats, manual trans, twin stick transfer case, Detachable tow bar, Has ford Pinto 4 cylinder motor That ran last time i drove it about a year ago, only problem is that it needs a fuel return line to the fuel tank because it floods out at idle. comes with stock steel hood (stamped Willie) and aftermarket fiberglass hood. Great projet!”

(07/05/2010) This looks good, though it needs the gas tank replaced.
“Selling a 1947 Willys CJ2A. Runs good and the 4 wheel drive works great. All lights work, headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals and dash light. Heater works great. Steering is sloppy, interior floor could use some work, seats torn up (not original). Fuel tank removed, using portable boat tank now. I do have two fuel tanks, but they need work. Inner windshield frame needs work or replacing. Have extra windshield frame, modified to single glass. Windshield wiper motors need replacing. Would make a great wheeler or great for restoration project. Have title. Asking $1650 OBO. Am looking for guns, Ford Bronco or Ford F150 short bed (only 4×4) in trade, either part or straight across. Don’t have what I am looking for, shoot me an email with pictures, most I can say is NO. Rigs must run. Let me know what you have. Call Phil at 503-359-4520.”

(07/31/2010) There is some surface rust, but the front clip looks pretty straight.
“This is a 1948 Willys CJ2A with spare tire mount on left side (lefty). Solid frame with some rust in tub. It does not run and will need engine work. Please e-mail with questions.”
Jeep Number 3 is a 1965 CJ-3B, based on the serial numbers from the CJ-3B Page, and not a CJ-3A as listed by the seller.
“Jeep Number 1: CJ5 – Blue, no title, no VIN tag or data plate, no axles, no engine, just a body. Most likely late ’70’s.
Jeep Number 2: CJ2A – Red, no title, no VIN tag or data plate, complete with engine but missing crank. Both axles, complete running gear. Most likely around 1947 due to round recessed turn signals.
Jeep Number 3: CJ3A – Red, no title, VIN: 8105 118510 – complete with engine. Both axles, complete running gear. Most likely around 1949.
Jeep Number 4: CJ2A – Yellow/Green, no title, VIN: 60979 – complete with engine (engine has been removed) Both axles, complete running gear (transfer case in bed). Most likely around 1946.
I will throw in additional axles, driveshafts, motor, and a couple transfer cases…”

There’s some value here given the rebuilt running gear, tranny and tc.
“1948 Willys flatfender Jeep. No motor, but I have a totally rebuilt T-90 transmission and rebuilt Dana/Spicer 18 transfer case. Has totally rebuilt dana 44 rear axle and rebuilt Dana 25 front end. All new 11” brakes. Painted frame with all new brake lines. Good tub with solid floors. CJ-3a windshield. Good fenders, hood and grill. Has Saginaw power steering mount and box. New Rancho springs and Confer shackles. New Rancho shocks. Tow bar. Washington title with collector plate. Stock 2-a seats in good shape. Need to sell to pay for another project.
UPDATE: Pics provided and price dropped to $600. It runs, too!

UPDATE: *SOLD** Was $4500.
This isn’t quite original, but looks good.
“This first civilian version of the US Army Jeep remains in near original state. I have the original front and back seats. The Willys was stored indoors since 1998. I replaced the master cylinder, wheel cylinders, cleaned the fuel system, rebuilt the carburetor, put in fresh plugs, points, rotor, capacitor and distribution cap. The 6 volt system operated the lights and starts the Willys with ease. The differential lube has been changed as well as fresh oil in the motor. The original style tires are mounted with tubes and hold air, but I’m not sure how road worthy they would be. The picture shows just how original this Willys actually is. It would make a great ranch or hunting Jeep. It comes with tow bar not pictured. Asking $4500 or best offer, but don’t hesitate to make a reasonable offer.”
