Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’m not sure I’d say the body is in “great shape”.

I can’t tell if these are $1200 each or $1200 for both. The VEC has the indents but I can’t tell for sure if it had a column shift or not.

(04/25/2010) “1947 willy’s jeep 4 cylinder- 3 speed. Heavy duty front & rear bumpers, winch. special interest plate/registration. soft top cover with doors. The back clear plastic window needs replaced. Oversized rims and wheels, Daytona super stag. Yes, it runs and in fairly good shape, great for off road. call 541*410*8557 or 541*410*2564.”

“46 Willys, Buick V-6,rebuilt appox 300 miles.SM420 tansmission,dana 18 transfercase,dana 30 disk brake front,dana 41 rear,11 inch brakes.Power steering,Power brakes,Tilt wheel,New raidator, New headers, Very soild rust free body,this has been a three year project and everything is new.Built for offroad,is streetable but has has very low gearing.Have a dana 44 full floater that will go with it.Tires are bfg 33-10.50-15.”
