Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s not pretty, but it sounds like a solid jeep.

This looks like a parts jeep that has no title.
“I have a jeep that I bought for deer hunting. have not done anything with it but clean it out. it is 95% complete. the motor is locked up. the 4×4 running gear is all there hi/lo/range transfer case.. This appears to have a VEC body, but I can’t tell if it has the column shift or not.

(09/08/2009) Here’s an early ’46 with the driver-side cutouts. It appears in very good shape. Nice looking shop, too.
