This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here’s a stock CJ-2A a bit on the pricey side.
“This is a 1946 Willys Jeep in excellent condition. The body and top have been restored but the engine has not. The Jeep has been in our family for at least 45 years. The Jeep has been in storage for years and we are selling it so that someone who loves great classic jeeps can enjoy this awsome vehicle. “1947 willy’s jeep, 12 volt system, very litttle rust. new master cylinder, brake lines, brake shoes and wheel cylinders, new hoses and belts. we drove it for a few years until the block cracked last winter, (water in the oil) and it has been parked inside my shop since then. extra parts include fiberglass hood, transmission, extra roll bar, solid doors, and misc other parts.”

“Hi i have a 1946 Jeep Willys here. Has been garaged since 87 and it pretty good condition. All origional with all parts still there. It did run when it was parked but has sat for 23 years so no guarentees on it running but would be a nice project. Lost the keys for the ignition so it will have to be replaced. **SOLD** ! Here’s a solid flattie that’s been updated with a little more power. I bet it’s a great trail rig!
“1948 Jeep CJ-2A with CJ-3A windshield, Buick 225, Kenne Bell aluminum manifold, four barrel carburetor and headers. T-90 transmission, late model T-18 transfer case, late model Dana 44 rear-end with locker, 5.38 gears, Dana 27 front end with locker. 11” brakes front and rear. Frame was boxed. Late model springs with torque rods. Saginaw power steering. New under-seat poly fuel tank. Tires are BF Goodrich All Terrain Mud with 90% tread left. Full roll cage. New soft top and bikini top. One piece front clip that tilts forward and gives good access to motor.”

“Buick Odd-fire V6, T-90 3 speed, Dana 18 twin stick T-case, Warn OD. Needs Transmission ($550) or rebuild, possibly transfer case ($400) as well. Prices are from herm the overdrive guy in Brush Prairie (hermtheoverdriveguy.com). Winch, Tow bar, Full Cage, 1/2 doors and Bikini top as well. Engine runs fine, will need to be towed (tranny won’t engage). Body is pretty rust free. Clean Oregon Title. Willing to deliver (within reasonable distance after purchase). Don’t know too much about history as it was purchased a few months ago for a project and no time or money to complete.”
