This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “230 Jeep Tornado 6cly,T90 trans with Warn OD,Warn elet. winch,roll bar cage, rebuilt 65 Vet cross flow radiator with remote filler yank needs to be installed . Have owned since 1965 time for new owner and some TLC. Runs OK”

Not a bad price given it runs.
“1948 Jeep Willy’s – 4×4 off road vehicle, and street legal, currently not registered. Does not need SMOG, Drives fantastic. CAMO paint, great for weekend get aways.
Needs parking brake, and a little bit of TLC. Comes with attached Tow hitch.”
And, it runs on propane!

(02/10/10) I love the old top. The rest looks a bit rough.
“I have owned this Willys for the last 38 year it has always been garaged. We have had many years of fun with our Willys Hunting, Fishing, and trail riding. The engine was updated to a 1965 chevy 327 2V. in the late 70’s. Saganaw steering box, 12 Volt electrical, heater, 60’s T-bird bucket seats, Winch, and a Custom towing rig attached to the Willys.”

This is pretty stock, but it’s also got some project left. It looks more like the pic on the right than the one on the left right now.
“FS: 47 Willys CJ2A Located in Las Vegas,NV $3500. Very Original very complete. Had Radiator re-cored and gas tank boiled, new fuel pump installed. Engine compartment is complete, rebuilt WO Carburator, all original seats. 6 Volt system Generator and regulator. 5 original 6.00 X 16 Goodyear NDT (3 spare Goodyear tires) Mounted. Matching freshly painted 16 inch wheels( yellow ). Front fenders and Grill removed and stripped. Have a Repro wiring Harness ready to install. Repro Bow for top, all seats original including back seat. Correctly titled with matching serial number plates on fire wall. Haven’t put it all back together, so currently is not running.”
