This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 low hood, Chev eng 283c.i., Chev 5 speed trans new rebuild, T-90 transfer reconditioned, 44 rear,27 front, 4:11 ratio on new rebuilds, New 11 inch brakes, new 2.5 inch lift on springs and shackels, all parts here except fuel tank. Body ready for finish.”

“1946 Willys Jeep. Original Title. Very Rare 3-Speed Column Shift. Good Condition. Few rust spots but no dents or body damage. Starter will need replacing but other than that it runs great! Alot of fun to drive! Great addition to the hunting lease!”

1946 Willys CJ2A Runs Great, Engine and transmition has less than 200 miles since complete rebuild. Jeep was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt. Will sell with new 33″ Goodyear Wrangler M/T tires on new steel spoke rims for $3000 or will sell with original jeep wheels and tires for $2000″
It appears complete, though the engine is updated.
