(05/28/09) It’s got some rust issues …

“I listed this earlier in the summer, but have gone down significantly in price as I don’t want to see it sit outside through the long winter and I have no garage to store her in. Has a crack in the windshield. Needs new clutch, spark plugs and fresh gas. The frame is solid but rusty. Hard arctic top and doors. No papers. The dashboard is unusual.

“1948 Willys Custom Jeep with a Ford 302 V-8 Engine, 4-Speed Manual Transmission and lots of other extras that makes for a perfect hunting/farming/ranching vehicle. This jeep has had a lot of alterations but runs and drives good. The body is straight and the drive train seems to be tight. The engine has limited blow-by but does show some exhaust smoke. Some reconditioning may be needed but it should provide you with a lot of great service.”

“1948 jeep willys. It has a flat head 4 cylinder motor, with a 3-speed manual transmission. It has a power take off in the back of the jeep. The tries on the jeep are 7.00-16lw, they still said military on the tries. The speedometer reads 64525.The winch on the front is a 10,000lbs.
