These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(04/24/09) It looks like a project, but apparently it’s driveable.
“283 Chevy motor, runs, needs tuning; new brakes, 11″ front; new bearings and seals in front end; new rear hubs; lock out front hubs; 4WD works; needs body work & electrical; Extra parts included.”

(10/27/09) This is a Square Finder Willys Jeep; I’m don’t know what that means? The jeep sounds well modified.
“New Starter, New seat in back, Buckets in front, Full role cage, 1967 Chev. 327 eng., New Power Steering Pump, Radiator rodded out, 15 x 10 Chrome Spocked Rims, Tires like new 33 x 12.5 x 15, Ten Thousand Lb. Warren Winch, Rebult Tranfer Case, SM-420 Transmission, Running gear from a 1973 CJ5, Model 30 Front end, Dana 60 rear end with Possi-Traction, 427 Gear Ratio, And a newly fully rebuilt Rodchester Spread Bore Carb.”
“I have a 1947 jeep willys it has the 231 v6 in it and it is in great shape runs very good. it has a new master cyclinder needs to be put on. i put alot of work and time into it.”

Unusual paint job. It looks like it is mostly there. Non Running.
“registered as 47 but all serial #s have it as a 46. All original except rims and tires. has tow bar. original flat head 4 engine. needs rebuild does not run. i think it is front bearings/ common with this engine, trans, transfer, steering, clutch, brakes all worked fine, body is straight minimal bondo. small rust issue on floor under seats, no more than expected after 63 years, price is firm would rather not sell but… I work for cal fire and am gone alot so, i may not reply right away be patient, I will get back to you”
“Restored /Original 49 CJ2A Willey’s. Has been long term project car I finally finished up but have moved on to other toys/challenges and can use the garage space and cash! So no trades please. Runs well, everything works. Original engine, tranny. Converted to 12 V, new engine wiring harness, fuel tank & lines, fuel pump, brake lines, master cylinder, front seats, custom roll bar, miltary tires/wheels (include side mount spare). New flat desert sand paint, interior coated with flat black bed coating. Have new canvas military top (no sides) that’s never been mounted.”
