This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,500.
I found this ad interesting because the seller says he got an appraisal of $12,500 from Southern Motors (a car seller?). It appears to be restored, however the pics make some of the parts of the body look a little rough (it could be the pics). The drive train and transmission sound stock to me.
“1948 WILLYS Jeep, 406 CI Motor, 4 BBL, 194 Camelback Early Corvette Heads, 3 Speed Trans, 538 Axle, Completely restored inside and out. Engine and Transmission rebuilt less than 500 miles on rebuild. Lots of power. New LTX Ms Michlin 31 X 10.5 R 15 tires.”
I didn’t get many specifics on this build, other than it is a barn find that was carefully rebuilt and is located in or near deer park, washington. There are lots of great details on it. Thanks for the pics Michelle!

This is a good looking rig and, given the upgrades, the price seem good. It looks like it was a club vehicle.

“I’m moving and must sell my classic 1946 Willys. I have replaced the fuel system and part of the oil system in addition to the thermostat. This is a great Jeep that will go anywhere. The prior owner used it to hunt, I have primarily driven it around town and in the foothills. Contact me with any questions. “
