Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The serial number suggests this is a 1945, but it should have full floaters.
“Back on the “Interwebs” due to Craigslist Flakes! Up for sale “Farm Fresh” Willys CJ2A “Flat Fender” Jeep. This is a very early, rust free, jeep. This is the first civilian production run of the famous CJ Jeep. The Jeep is a very low production number. The Jeep has a Buick V6 Dauntless motor (runs), dual exhaust, dual fuel tanks, headers, neat spare tire carrier, Dualmatic front hubs, Chevy tilt steering wheel. Jeep sold with a T90 transmission, but does not have a transfer case. The transmission and transfer case was pulled by the previous owner. This wouldn’t take much to get back on the trail. I have the original title and every repair receipt that was ever done to this jeep. This rig would be great for a full restoration, a vintage rock crawler, hunting rig, trail jeep, or summer grocery getter.”

“1946 willys. Frame tag in place. Stock running gear. Was a driver about 5 years ago. Gonna need to clean fuel lines and bleed brakes etc.. I cleaned it off, put in battery and it fired up when I drizzled fuel into carb. Oil looks good and coolant in radiator looks good. 12v conversion. Missing driver seat but I think I have one around. “I have a 1947 military jeep Willys this unit was in the military and before by uncle had cancer he was restoring it he had starting sanding it down to bring it back to her original condition the motor ran 10 years ago before he drove it into a enclosed box trailer the motor turns over and Has even compression on all 4 cylinders it’s missing the seats but has basically every thing else still intact it’s a project tho so keep that in mind text or call me if your interested”
