Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Willys CJ2A has a 1956 Chevy 265 v8 conversion complete with a WARN overdrive, one piece front tie rod, new shocks, and 1” body lift. It has a new wiring harness, brand new 31” tires and 15” wheels with matching spare, and custom winch bumper with winch and high lift jack. It also has new sour apple green metallic paint, bed liner interior, and new racing seats with harnesses. It still has the original brakes, but really needs a disc brake conversion.
