About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This 73 year old beauty needs a new home –
– Original Go devil L134 4 cylinder engine that still runs great.
– 3 speed manual transmission
– Converted from 6 volt to 12 volt electrical system
– All gauges work except the fuel gauge ( have not had the time but is a simple fix )
– Odometer tracks miles but there is really no way to verify correct mileage
– Handmade canvas top with enclosure to cover the back section
– Custom mounts for Axe / Shovel / Compressor box
– Has gun mount for dash as well as tow bar for the front
– 255/75R17 BFG MT tires on steel rims with less than 1000 miles on the tires
– Have original tires and wheels
– Brand new front disc brake conversion
$15000. Make me a reasonable offer. Everything is pretty solid on this Jeep and it is rust free. A lot of time and money has been put into this war dog. Garage kept and serviced regularly as I drive it a lot in the summer. Feel free to contact me with any questions.”
“Starts, runs and drives but brakes need attention. Lots of professional work done – drive lines, transfer case, tranny with receipts. Original 4 cylinder Hammerhead motor. Great project but needs abit more for a daily driver.
Willing to trade for a full size Chevy/GMC pickup 4×4 that is a turn key daily driver and passes smog. Minimum trade value $3500.”
“1946 Willys Jeep.
Very complete, could get running and driving with small amount of work. Only one small spot on drivers side floor boards with rust, that’s it. Have seats just not pictured.
Title in hand.”
(03/12/2020) This shows that the DJ-3A windshield for the Koenig hardtop also will fit the Meyer CJ-5 hardtop (in this case it’s a CJ-5 half-top). To me this adds weight to my theory that the Koenig hardtop used on DJ-3As should fit CJ-5s. This jeep also has a DJ-3A body (cut side type) and grille, at the very least.
