About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(05/25/2019) Looks like a clean build. Note the windshield setup; looks well done.

“1948 Willys CJ2a, total restoration (frame off). Every mechanical and electric system is new or rebuilt: steering, suspension, brakes, fuel, cooling and drive train. It has not been registered and used since the restoration was completed. The only conversion from original equipment is a dual reservoir master cylinder and dry element air filter. Please call with questions, but do not make an offer without looking at it. Clean title in hand. ”
“Willys Jeep CJ2A parts! Includes 1947 parts jeep with title and a good galvanized steel hard top. Parts also include 3 blocks, heads, cam shafts, and oil pans, miscellaneous oil filters, generators, and some transfer case parts and clutch housings. There are axles for the ’47. There are transmission parts, but none are complete.”
“1948 jeep cj2a for sale, no title, its missing. Bought it to restore thinking it would be an easy quick one but its too much of a project for me. No motor. Has original tranny, t-case, and axles. someone along the way put on a decent suspension and a roll cage. Neat old Jeep!
will trade for plymouth duster /valiant/scamp/ dodge dart part, chevy square body parts, rotary motor, old ww2 military memorabilia, ford galaxy / galaxie parts, Isuzu rodeo parts, 1 gen supra parts or late 1st generation mustang parts.”
“Willys CJ2A, running engine, needs tuning. No current title in hand.
12 volt system conversion, 4 cyl., L134, alternator. Decent shape, needs additional work to run street.
New battery, running lights work.”
“Flatfender setting on 3/4 Ton chevy axles, 5.13 ratio, full Detroit in front, corporation in rear, dana 44 and 14 bolt, 38” swampers, 4.3 chevy, TH400, NP205 twinsticked, rear hydro brake lock, four wheel disk brakes, 9000 lbs warn winch. Comes with a full aluminum hard top with doors. Top looks awesome. Loads of time in it. I drive it 20+ miles back and forth to the mountains, so very road worthy. One of a kind.”
It still has the serial number plates on the body. Might have some parts value.
