About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I have a collection of 1946 VEC CJ2A Jeep parts for restoration or just parts. I was going to restore this but I have an aircraft restoration project that is more demanding of my time.
Parts include: Rolling chassis, (full floating rear axle), with tub, 4 like new 600×16 military NDT tires, engine, transmission/transfer case, radiator, rear driveshaft, drivers seat frame, non-VEC windshield frame, tailgate, hood, front fenders and grill.
Missing parts: Front drive shaft, exhaust system, fuel tank, VEC windshield frame, passenger seat frame and both rear axles.
The tub is interesting in that there is and opening around the steering column for the column shift linkage it also has the cover and mounting holes that look original for a floor shift. The trans I got with it is a top loader T90 floor shift.
There is the usual rust in the floors, toolbox and hat channels.”
“1946 Willy’s original motor transmission and hard top engine recently gone through new radiator original still with the vehicle runs good starts right up converted to 12 volt odometer shows 60k”
(08/22/2019) For some reason, the ignition switch was dropped down a few inches. It could use a bumper, some rubber under the windshield, and some hood blocks. Maybe the pics were taken before it was completed?
“I am selling my 1948 Willys CJ2A. I bought it a couple years ago as a fun toy. It was beautifully restored by the previous owner. It is definitely a great little vehicle and it gets lots of looks, thumbs up and honks (the good kind). I truly just don’t have time to drive it and can use the extra space. It’s time to move it along to someone that will actually have time to enjoy it. Everything is mechanically sound. It starts up right away and runs better than most of my other classic cars. Truly a great car to just get in and drive. I typically ran most of my local errands in it because it’s fun to tool around in and a cake walk to park. Please let me know if you have any questions, I’m definitely not an expert on these but I will help in any way I can. I’m also happy to send any specific pictures you might want. Thanks for looking!
Just paid the registration, good through October 2020
Title in hand and in my name
P.S. I will not respond to low ball offers. I’m in no rush to sell. I’m happy to continue running errands in it =)”
