This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “2 projects both have a tag but no papers green one is a mb chassis no engine the tub is fiberglass in decent shape bonded to a cj2a cowl I have good fiberglass fenders for it and good hood no windshield .. the blue one is a 47 cj2a no engine if your interested come look .. I will post more pics soon .. I will not trade and I’m firm on my price for both if that’s 2 much find one somewhere else. If you ask me any questions I’ve already answered in the above post I will assume you are not qualified to restore a 73 year old vehicle and you will be ignored. I do not need to sell I’m just realizing I have to many projects and would like to move south and can’t take them all”

This has some Cutlas Bulldog hubs. I didn’t recognize them at first with the green paint.

This appears to have a set of later model Free-Lock hubs.

I have an older Willy’s jeep I believe it a 1946 cj2a .
It is pretty much all there.
The motor came out of the mb 3a I think.
I took it in trade and don’t have a title for it . It was on a ranch and was the grandfather’s jeep but they had no idea where the title was.
It did run but hasn’t been started in some time.

“1949 CJ2A frame and running gear, brakes have been upgraded to the larger Ford drum brakes, original 3 speed with overdrive. The tub is an aftermarket CJ3B. The engine is a Buick Odd Fire V6. Has an electric fan, custom tire carrier and rear bumper, Jeep has been rewired, and has dual gas tanks. Comes with a soft top, hard top and bikini top.. Has some rust over rear tires and in tool box under passenger seat . Mileage is unknown Clear title. Jeep is in Santa Maria, California.”

This has a rare KEMCO branded hardtop.
“CJ2a willys jeep. This is a project jeep. it has a V8 chevy swapped into it. has rust, but overall not to bad for the year. what you see is what you get. i haven’t tried to get it started yet. just thought i would post it before i do any work on it.”
This has a later model (1959? and later) passenger cowl side vent plate for some reason. The seller includes pics of the body rebuild.

“1947 cj2a original l134 engine 3 speed transmission. Tons of work on this jeep. Changed to 12 volts system, all new brakes from master cylinder to shoes, new gauges, new clutch pressure plate flywheel, all new wiring, new gas tank fuel line fuel filter, rebuilt carb, new oil lines oil filter, new body bushings, new floors new body braces, took this jeep down to the frame por15 the chassis fixed all the floors braces etc prob forgetting something. I have title in my name also have the Id tag for body and frame. Clean n.c title. Fun jeep for drive top speed maybe 40mph needs windsheild always ran none ethanol gas in her. 4×4 works low and high .”
