UPDATE: **SOLD** $6200
(10/18/2019) Has an inline 6, but it doesn’t look to me to be a spitfire.
“1946 cj5 jeep, all has been replaced, motor rebuilt, all new brake system, new clutch/ and pressure plate, new tires etc, too much to list. this is a must see jeep,”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5100.
(02/13/2019) Body exterior has been body-lined.
“1948 Willy’s CJ2a Jeep. The entire exterior has been rhino lined so it will last forever. The underside has been painted with a truck bed liner for protection as well. New larger gas tank has been added as well as plastics race seats. New wiring harness has been added along with LED tail lights.
The Jeep runs and drives but could use some general upkeep and maintenance. Very easy to work on as there are obviously no computers or major electronics to deal with. Perfect for someone who is just starting to work on cars. This Jeep was my granddads and I have loved making it mine, but it’s time to move to a new project. This Jeep is sold as is and buyers will be required to sign a bill of sale”
The steps have been modified and drain holes covered.

“Fully restored 1948 Willys Jeep for sale. The vehicle is currently in long-term storage and can be viewed upon request. Restored by an experienced classic car enthusiast who also restored two Model As, a Packard, and a REO Flying Cloud. The car was fully operational and regularly driven in holiday parades (i.e., Brunswick and Valley City Fourth of July and Old Fashioned Days Parades) immediately prior to the restorer’s death in December 2017. Has been in covered storage since that time, so may need a minor tune-up.
Being sold by the current owner and titleholder. Title can be transferred immediately upon payment. Purchase must transport from the storage unit.”
Roger Martin spotted this one. I thought I’d already posted it, but can’t find it. The steps have been modified.

UPDATE: UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
The seller responded to an inquiry indicating that due to the condition of the shed, it might be a week or two before they’ll allow anyone into the shed to look at the jeep.
The seller has this listed at $10,000, but that’s only because they couldn’t leave it blank.
“Barn find. Ran sometime before it was parked… Located north of Lexington. Please reply through Craigslist email. Will consider all reasonable offers. There are some required fields I wasn’t going to fill in but have to. No, we’re not really expecting $10,000, but it won’t let you leave that box blank. This was my dad’s. We do have the title somewhere. And I’m guessing it is a manual transmission – can’t imagine it being an automatic. Thanks!”
