These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Willy’s flat fender Jeep. Body is complete but has some rust, partial repair has been done. I also have a 1969 DJ frame that goes with the 47. Most parts are there between the 2, and I have a spare motor and transmission that ran when removed. ”

Newly upholstered seats, some new wiring, new gas tank, rebuilt new transmission and differential, new brake lines, new shocks, lights, bezels, refurbished carburetor. Ready for the parade, leisure weekend rides, mudding. Great for the farm too! A real time machine… title in hand. State approved manufactured VIN. Street legal! Come take it for a test ride :)”
It doesn’t run. That bumper must have hit something hard to be that dented!
“Mechanic & Collectors Special! 1947 Willy’s Jeep not sure what model it is. Selling for a family member who has since passed away don’t know much about it, he had it since the 80s. Doesn’t run needs work, comes with 4 spare tires,2 doors,a extra transmission and a top for it.”
“mostly original survivor. L head replaced with F head at some point. Runs well, transmission/transfer case fine, new brakes all around, powder coated wheels with good NDT’s, tracks straight. New battery, cables, and rebuilt starter. Frame rusty, but not rusted out. Beachwood Canvas top with bows. came out of North Carolina about a year ago, fixed it over the winter.”
“Bought from the original family. Frame off restored in 2002.
Was originally a farm jeep that pulled a baler and a spreader. Original owner was a Jeep driver in the medical corps for the army in Europe from 44 to 45…he wanted a jeep for the farm when he came back. Have original title.
Work done: Engine rebuilt, Trans rebuilt, New tires, new wheel cylinders and master cylinder, new exhaust, new gauges, new original cloth wiring, 6 volt generator, correct working vacum wipers, correct carb, new canvas top, New canvas seats, new fuel lines and sending unit, fresh paint in 02 with undercoating inside the body and on all the under-surfaces. No rust out. Original metal. Bow pockets were not reinstalled by the P/O. Starts runs drives amazing. Tight steering, new shocks.
Needs very little but it is going to need seals at some point. They are getting a bit tired.”
“1946 Willys CJ-2a This is the FIRST non-military model. CJ-2a Complete frame on restoration on this vehicle. If you follow these Willy’s Jeeps closely, you understand that its very rare you see these early post-war jeeps pop up for sale. But, it’s even rare+ to see them restored to this condition. This 1946 Willy’s Jeep CJ-2a has an amazing color combination and 700 miles on it since its full restoration.
The CJ-2a was the first Willy’s Jeep used for non-war or peace duty (CJ = Civilian Jeep), but there is no denying the military forces influences on this early example. You cannot help but see the same basic style that brought victory in World War II. An icon like this does not need to be flashy, but the fresh coat of a deep green paint really adds a touch that is typically lost on these jeeps.
