About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1947 Classic Willy’s Jeep. Street legal. Recently had compete new suspension, headlights, taillights and windshield. Also, unit has been sprayed with recently with bedliner material. Would make a great hunting jeep or weekend cruiser. Clean Title”
“Here’s a nice family owned CJ 2 that has good structure mainly due to being inside a garage for a long time. The engine was pulled for a rebuild and that’s where it sat until I acquired it. The parts Jeep has had a little ruffer life passing thru many hands but appears to have a good engine in it as the previous owner was still making up grades to it. It was and still is holding antifreeze in it so I sure the motor is still good. Have a title as well…….
Christmas price drop……don’t need the money as much as could use the extra space…..and my attention could be directed else where hint hint…..not wanting to separate as I will put them together as I have time away from other distractions….
The 75th anniversary of D-Day is next June 2020 – if your not in tune with early CJ2’s.”
“1947 Jeep willys all original not that many left in the world ,don’t sleep on this deal only asking $7500 or best offer has original owners manual and only one owner prior”
“1940 ( SOMETHING ??? ) WAS TOLD A 1947 BUT UNSURE.. WILLYS MILITARY JEEP, NEEDS TOTAL 100% RESTORATION OR USE FOR PARTS. TUB IS PRETTY ROTTEN. IT HAD A FLATBED BEHIND THE DRIVERS SEAT AT SOME POINT .SO THE BODY IS NOT THERE IN THE REAR .

SELLING FOR INLAWS ESTATE . TEXT QUESTIONS OR FOR PICS THAT WILL POST LATER. ..”
Selling my 1946 Jeep willys cj2a! Running and driving, Neat little Jeep that still wears it’s original paint!! Hardly any rust/cancer! It was a barn find that I had been looking for for years! Floors and bed have no rust holes, no cancer in body panels and frame is in great solid shape with some surface rust. This cj2a is very original and is a perfect rust free candidate for a full restoration or a little project to cruise around in! It has a Jeep f134 in it that starts and runs good! It’s cold blooded but once it’s warmed up it idled and runs good. It has a new distributor, carb, fuel pump and water pump from keiser willys! I do have the original flat head 4 motor (numbers matching) that I’ll sell as well for $250 Clutch feels good. transmission is tight! 4 wheel drive works great! Has a heater. Im into the willys more than my asking price and had plans to do a full restoration on it but after having no time and seeing it sit for a few months it’s time to go”
“Have decided to sell my 1948 Willys CJ2a which I’ve owned for the past 6 years or so and have loved. I’ve started a Bronco project and don’t get to drive this one as much as I used to.
This Jeep looks a bit rough but runs BEAUTIFULLY including four wheel drive- would be a good candidate for a cosmetic restoration or just to drive around as-is like I’ve been doing.
Many new parts and upgrades since I’ve owned it including:
-Five new tires and tubes
-New rebuilt Carter carburetor
-New radiator
-New plugs and wires
-Complete rewiring with new wiring harness
-New gas tank
-Aftermarket turn signals for safer road use
-New brake system
-New gauges
This Jeep comes with an aftermarket Koenig metal hardtop from the 1950s- see pics. Also comes with a spare transmission/transfer case I bought as a backup but never needed.”
“I have a 1949 Willys jeep no motor no transmission and it has a PTO on the back of it. I bought the jeep from an auction and it DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE. I want $1000.00 firm. No trades”
“1948 Jeep Willys in good shape. Runs and drives. Lots of fun. It will go pretty much anywhere. Comes with soft top. Windshield needs a few welds. Will consider trade for reliable awd or 4wd vehicle”
