These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Wanting to trade my 1948 cj2a for 2 door v8 car from 1960s. Preferably a ford. Just getting it out of storage. Last driven in 2016 cool April nights and then parked. Just seeing if anyone interested”
“1947 Willys CJ2A, F Head 4 cyl from a 1955 Jeep, T90 3 spd, Dana 18, Dana 25 frt, 41 rear with 5.38 gears. New battery, carb, spare transmission and transfer case and driveshafts, brand new tires and wheels, new seats, brand new Rancho 1” lift springs, have original windshield and factory wheels, roll bar. Was going to restore it but am going a different direction. It’s a project but it’s close. Tub not rusted out just a little dented here and there. $4,000 obo.”
Looks solid. It has a reproduction tub. It also has been updated to 12 volts and has some other non-stock parts.

“I’m posting this post for a friend. His father passed away and left him with a life long collection of old Army Jeeps and everything Jeep parts. He also collected a few other old cars, wheels, tires, “real original baby moon hubcaps” as well as many, many other wheel covers for all kinds of old cars. “1946 Willys CJ2A. It has the original “Go-Devil” Flathead 4-Cylinder Motor, 3-spd Manual Transmission w/rare overdrive, 12-Volt system, Warn winch, and Drum Brakes all around. The engine, transmission and 4×4 are in great condition. There are no noticeable rust issues. You’ll have a difficult time finding a nicer one at this price point.”
