These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/05/2016) The red jeep has a DJ-3A body.
“two Willys jeeps for sale. They are rough but I was gonna make one out of the two. The blue one is a 1946 CJ2A, I have the data plate for it, but no title for either. I don’t know the year of the other one. The 46 has a bad frame but the other one is good. Neither one is running. There is also another set of axles and a set of 15in. powder coated wagon wheels goes with them. $1500 firm for all.”

I nearly bypassed this ad. Then I saw the overdrive. Has a hardtop as well.

“Upon the arrival of World War II the U.S. military needed a vehicle that could withstand anything and drive through anything. Ford, Willys and Bantam all submitted prototypes to the government, but the Willys MB was far superior both in durability and mechanical strength with its 60 horsepower flathead 4 cylinder that far exceeded the U.S. governments requirements. The do anything, go anywhere vehicle named the “Jeep” proved to be exactly what it was made for and more. After the war, Willys saw a need and a market for durable utilitarian vehicles for all the G.I.’s returning from the war so in 1946 they introduced the civilian model of their famous MB that helped win the war: the CJ-2A.
Offered here is a very solid example of a 1947 Willys CJ-2A. Finished in its original color of dark green, this 2A wears an older restoration but is a great Jeep to drive around town or for show. It comes with its original 2A split windshield and original Willys tailgate. The windshield currently installed is a CJ3A windshield for better visibility while driving. Mechanically it runs and drives very well and would be great for top down or even windshield down driving. No signs of rust or rust repair, the tub is original to this Jeep which is seldom seen today. A great Jeep and a lot of fun.”

Condition is Used. has rusted frame – good estate vehicle? needs exhaust manifold. ran last in 2018, has plow, new front and rear brake shoes and wheel cyls, new steel brake lines, new parking brake shoes and cable. 4 new studded firestone snow tires. 4 new shocks and new rear leaf springs. Sears aluminum cap. new fuel pump. 4wd works. solid power train.”

“1946 Willys Jeep 2a. Project Jeep. Mostly complete. The motor did run before I pulled it. It will need some sheet metal replaced. Motor is original and so is the whole drivetrain. It has a rare column shift transmission in it. The wheels on the Willys are not included. I will however include the original wheels that came with it instead. Im firm on the price, no trades. Michigan titled.
For sale till add is deleted.
Also, I do have another Willys, a 1948 2a. From Wyoming and still titled as such. $6000. for that one, a turn key jeep. E-email me if interested in that. Not yet listed.”

This seems to be a mix of parts.
“1944 WW II Willy’s Jeep. Original running gear. Rebuilt transmission, carburetor, And brake system. 4 cylinder engine runs good. 12 volt electrical system. Front hubs need work. Like new tires, body is excellent. Mileage is unknown.”
