“46 Willys jeep and the parts it was my toy and I have been gathering parts need money and don’t have time to work on it”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000.
Lots to like here.
“A 1948 Willy’s CJ2A. Jeep is in very good condition. Shows less than 18 K miles on odometer. This was a classic barn find near Audubon Iowa in 1978, and was purchased by my father and driven home. The motor was smoking badly at that time and it sat indoors in heated storage for many years. In the last few years the 4 cylinder flat head motor has been rebuilt, the 3 speed manual drive line gone thru, the brake, fuel, and cooling systems repaired/replaced.
New windshield glass. New seat cushions on all three seats on original frames. Still wears its faded and scratched “Princeton Black” 1948 paint excepting a few areas that were cleaned up as it was restored to be a turnkey driver. Factory(?) side steps All five original wheels, still in faded 1948 “Sunset Red”- which actually was a pumpkin orange- with a black trim stripe. All five wheels still mounted with military style non directional tires. Continue reading
Looks solid.

“1948 Willy’s CJ 2A Runs good. Many new parts, some spare parts. Has saganaw steering conversion, two fuel tanks,12 volt alternator, oversized radiator, custom front bumper with winch mount and tow bar, super swamper tires, spare tire, all gauges work, heater works, lockout front hubs, new windshield glass, seal and wiper motor, new paint. Serious inquiries only, please.”
Lacks the frame-to-bumper gussets, so it could be a very late 2A or a 3A.

It’s powered by a V8 (which runs). The jeep needs some wiring at the very least.

Have that. Can start and drive. 327 Chevy w/350 turbo trans.”
The 3B still runs.

“53 Willy’s Jeep, and 46 Willy’s Jeep for sale. 53 is still running be it not great. Selling as a pair. Would make a great restoration project,or the 53 has a plow for an extra 300.”
Jeep appears solid. Carpet is covering the floors, but given this is eastern Utah, I doubt the floors would have much rust. Given the overspray, this might be painted ‘rattle can’ white.

“New tires, new seats, all original steel, new paint, rebuilt, Original Flat 4/L135. Runs great!!”

Has a starting problem. Someone’s added a rubber tube along the edge of the cowl. Had anyone tried that?
“Very good condition, starter issues, little to no rust,”
